TAILRD LTD ("TAILRD", "we", "us") operates the website at tailrd-heart.com. This policy explains what information this website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this public website only. Use of the TAILRD platform at app.tailrd-heart.com by a health system and its users is governed by that organisation's agreement with TAILRD, including its Business Associate Agreement, and not by this policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us. If you submit the contact form, we receive the name, work email address, job title and organisation you enter. The form is processed by Formspree, Inc., which delivers the submission to us by email and stores a copy on our behalf. Please do not submit patient information or any other protected health information through this website; we do not want it and it is not needed to work with us.

Information collected automatically. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as the pages you view, the approximate region you are visiting from, your device and browser type, and the site that referred you. Google processes this information for us under its terms. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser; the site works without them. Our hosting provider, Netlify, Inc., keeps standard server logs, including IP address, requested page and time, for security and operations. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the font files are requested.

How we use information

We use contact form submissions to respond to you and to follow up about TAILRD. We use analytics and server logs to operate, secure and improve the site. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Sharing

We share information only with the service providers named above, each of which processes it on our instructions, and where required by law or to protect our rights. If TAILRD is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Retention

Contact form submissions are kept for as long as we are in contact with you about TAILRD and for a reasonable period afterwards, and are deleted on request. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings, currently 14 months. Server logs are retained for a short period by our hosting provider.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you from this website, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@tailrd-heart.com. We will respond within 30 days. Residents of California and other jurisdictions with privacy laws may have additional rights, which we will honour on request. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights. We do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, but the opt-out options above apply.

Children

This website is intended for healthcare professionals and organisations and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information described here. No website or transmission is completely secure.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it was last changed, and the current version is always at this address.
